Fabrication & Installation

  • Ductwork plenums are to be fabricated strictly in accordance with the manufacturer’s requirements and using only approved materials and accessories.
  • Ducts and plenums must be joined as per the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Maximum length of an individual duct: 4000 mm.
  • Supports to be installed as per DW 144 and manufacturer’s requirements:
    • 4000 mm max spacing for ducts ≤ 1200 × 1000 mm
    • 2000 mm max spacing for ducts > 1200 × 1000 mm
