Pre-insulated PIR Panels Duct
The duct system is fabricated from PIR (Polyisocyanurate) / PUR (Polyurethane) pre-insulated sandwich panels, composed of a rigid closed-cell foam core bonded on both sides with aluminum foil facing. These panels are designed to provide excellent thermal insulation, lightweight construction, and long-term durability for HVAC duct applications.
Material Properties:
- Closed-cell rigid PIR/PUR foam core
- CFC and HCFC-free
- Density: 45 ± 3 kg/m³
- Excellent thermal insulation performance
- Chemically and physiologically inert
- Resistant to mold, fungus, and vermin
- Non-fibrous and non-metabolizable
- Dimensionally stable under varying temperatures
- Panel Thickness (Typical):
- Air-conditioned areas: 20 mm
- Plant rooms: 20 mm
- Outdoor / weather-exposed areas: 20 mm (with additional protective coating if required)

Pearl Industries specializes in the production of high-performance PIR/PUR pre-insulated ducts, designed to deliver superior thermal efficiency and air distribution in modern HVAC systems. Each duct is fabricated using rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) or polyurethane (PUR) foam panels, laminated on both sides with aluminum foil, forming a robust sandwich structure that ensures strength, insulation, and air-tightness.
Overview of Pearl Industries PIR/PUR Pre-Insulated Ducts
Key Features and Benefits
Outstanding Thermal Performance:
The PIR/PUR core provides excellent thermal insulation, reducing energy loss and improving system efficiency.
Lightweight and Easy to Install:
Compared to traditional galvanized sheet metal ducts, pre-insulated ducts are significantly lighter, simplifying handling, transportation, and installation.
Corrosion and Condensation Resistant:
The aluminum foil facings prevent corrosion and minimize condensation, ensuring long-term performance even in humid environments.
Durable and Low Maintenance:
The closed-cell foam structure resists moisture, fungus, and vermin, offering a long service life with minimal upkeep.
Clean and Hygienic Airflow:
The smooth internal surface promotes low air resistance and prevents dust accumulation, contributing to cleaner indoor air quality.
Versatile Fabrication:
Panels can be easily cut, shaped, and bonded to produce rectangular, circular, or custom-shaped ducts suitable for complex HVAC layouts.
Applications in HVAC Systems
Pearl Industries PIR/PUR pre-insulated duct systems are ideal for:
- Office buildings and commercial centers
- Industrial plants and warehouses
- Hospitals and laboratories
- Airports and transportation hubs
- Hotels and residential complexes
- Educational and public buildings
These ducts are engineered for both indoor and outdoor installations, maintaining reliable performance across a wide range of temperature and environmental conditions.
Pre-Insulated Aluminium Ductwork Panels
The ductwork is made of aluminium/polyisocyanurate (PIR) sandwich panels, consisting of an expanded rigid PIR foam board faced on both sides with aluminium foil.
